Here you'll find our server rules, gameplay guidelines, and helpful information to ensure everyone has a fair, enjoyable, and immersive experience. Whether you're a new hatchling or a seasoned apex, please take a moment to read through everything carefully.

Server Rules

CS-1.00 — General Expectations

CS-1.01:

Respect all players and staff. Toxicity, harassment, discrimination, or slurs will not be tolerated.

Report issues through a ticket or /w admin — do not call out rulebreakers in public chat.

Keep all public chat clean. No excessive swearing, passive-aggressive behavior, or location dropping in global/local chats.

CS-1.04:

You must link your Discord to your Alderon account and include your Alderon ID in your Discord name.

CS-2.00 — Profile & Species Behavior

CS-2.01:

All dinosaurs must follow their species profile for behavior, biome, grouping, diet, and activity cycles.

No mixpacking: Only group with dinosaurs of the same species unless explicitly permitted by a profile or event.

CS-2.02:

Minor personality variation is allowed. Drastic deviations from core traits are considered unrealistic.

Hatchlings and juveniles must avoid conflict and prioritize escape. Defense is allowed when necessary.

CS-2.03:

Dinosaurs may only be active during their species' designated hours. They may wake briefly to drink/eat outside these hours. (Carnivores may only hunt albinos or critters during inactive periods.)

CS-2.04:

Follow courtship/nesting grounds and seasonal restrictions based on your species.

CS-3.00 — Eating, Drinking & Realism

CS-3.01:

Your dinosaur must visibly interact with food/water sources (mouth contact required).

CS-3.02:

You may only share food, resources, or quest items with members of your group.

CS-3.03:

Carnivores may not eat or drink during an active hunt. Herbivores may briefly stop to do so while being pursued.

CS-3.04:

Body denial is not allowed — dying where your corpse cannot be reached by hunters (e.g. off cliffs) is prohibited.

CS-4.00 — Conflict, Engagement & Safety

CS-4.01:

All engagements must be initiated with three (3) <:Threaten_Call:> calls. Your target has 10 seconds to respond or flee.

CS-4.02:

You may not re-engage the same group or individual for 15 minutes after a disengagement or loss.

CS-4.03:

A fight is considered disengaged when both sides stop and create clear distance ( e.g. lay down to heal ).

CS-4.04:

Logging into a zone or POI near other players grants you a 5-minute grace period before being engaged.

CS-5.00 — Hunting Rules (Carnivores)

CS-5.01:

To initiate a hunt:

Must be ≤75% hunger in a preferred biome
Must be ≤25% hunger in an unpreferred biome

CS-5.02:

Hunts begin with a bite or first aggressive act. They end IF :

A body drops
You lose LOS ( line of sight ) for 2 minutes
Prey is unreachable for 2 minutes
No bites are landed within 2 minutes

CS-5.03:

A fight is considered disengaged when both sides stop and create clear distance ( e.g. lay down to heal ).

Logging into a zone or POI near other players grants you a 5-minute grace period before being engaged.

CS-6.00 — Nesting & Young Dinosaurs

CS-6.01:

Nests must be placed in preferred biomes and away from key resources (e.g. 3 Spino lengths from water/food).

CS-6.05:

If hatched, you are expected to stay with your nest group until Juvenile unless an emergency occurs.

CS-6.02:

Nests may only be placed during valid nesting seasons listed in your species profile.

CS-6.03:

A nest requires one Sub-Adult or Adult of each gender. Both parties must consent to nesting.

CS-6.04:

Hatchlings must rely on parents for food and water until Juvenile stage.

CS-7.00 — Territory & Contesting Rules

CS-7.01:

CS-7.05:

Only Sub-Adults or Adults may initiate territorial challenges via 3 <:Threaten_Call:> calls.

Only one group member may engage in a territorial duel at a time.

CS-7.02:

If the defending party does not respond with their own <:Threaten_Call:>, they forfeit the POI.

CS-7.03:

Losing parties must vacate the territory within 2 minutes and may not return for 30 minutes.

CS-7.04:

Territorial contests are not to the death — once a winner is clear, the losing side must retreat.

CS-9.00 — Grouping & Social Conduct

CS-9.01:

Follow your species’ group and engagement limits at all times

CS-9.02:

No mixpacking between different diet groups or species, UNLESS allowed by your species profile

CS-9.03:

You cannot attack group members. If a member leaves, you must wait 15 minutes before engaging them

CS-9.04:

Group changes may not be made mid-combat. Wait until the engagement ends to invite or join new members
